The Private Client Associate position provides an opportunity for career development in the

Personal Lines High-Net-Worth insurance sector. This full-time position provides a hands-on

learning opportunity that will allow the candidate to work alongside industry professionals. All

training will be provided on the job; no prior insurance experience is required. The candidate

will learn how to help clients protect their assets and net worth with insurance coverages. We

are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree who is highly detailed oriented, organized,

and enjoys learning and interacting with people.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to:

Maintain high client retention rate by providing exceptional customer service.

Address coverage and billing inquiries from clients in a detailed and timely manner.

Accurately issue endorsements per the request of clients.

Prepare new business proposals and annual renewal reviews.

Generate and issue Evidence of Insurance (EOI’s) for mortgagees, lienholders, landlords, property managers, etc.

Create and process lost policy releases (LPR’s).

Utilize public sources to obtain information for quoting purposes, quote new business in high-net-worth carrier systems, and perform re-markets for current clients, as necessary.

Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Must be technically adept with strong computer proficiency in a variety of Microsoft Office applications.

Demonstrated success in delivering timely customer service.

Must be highly attentive to details and possess strong organizational skills.

Accomplished oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.

Capacity to effectively collaborate in a team environment, while juggling both individual goals and common team goals.

Must be able to tactfully handle sensitive and confidential client information.

KEY COMPETENCIES – LANGUAGE, REASONING & MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to analyze and interpret professional articles.

Ability to write professional business correspondence.

Ability to clearly and efficiently present ideas and information to colleagues and clients.

Ability to apply creative problem-solving skills to a variety of new or unknown scenarios.

Ability to apply basic algebra concepts.

Ability to decipher the difference between pro-rated and annualized figures.

Ability to calculate figures including but not limited to commissions, percentages, and proportions.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Ability to obtain Arizona and California P&C Insurance Producer Licenses within 6 months of hire date.
