Job Title: Bag Room Attendant
Reports To: Outside Operations Manager
Position Purpose: Creating a welcoming environment, greeting all members and guests, while providing a superior and swift service. Assisting the Director of Outside Operations with all aspects of the operation with duties including: keeping the driving range fully functional and stocked, management of the club phones, managing the proper maintenance of the golf car fleet, and providing a high overall level of service to the membership and their guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide superior and swift service to the membership and their guests.
- Follow all operations in the Outside Operations Procedure Manual.
- Responsible for opening and closing procedures of the outside operations building.
- Advise players via posted notices of any restrictions on the use of golf cars, the driving range, or other practice areas if given the opportunity.
- Effectively communicate with the Outside Operations staff about daily events and tasks.
- Ensure that all aspects of the daily golf range and practice areas set up have properly been completed.
- Assist in maintaining the appearance of the bag room, cart barn, and starter booth.
- Manage the daily and monthly maintenance of the golf cars while also keeping a proper record of the maintenance including any work done to the cart itself, the GPS system or the watering of batteries.
- Manage the rotation of the golf cars so that no set of cars is being used more than others, ensuring a longer effective life for the fleet.
- Ensure each golf car is properly cleaned daily while also making sure that the golf cars are detailed routinely as part of our scheduled maintenance of the cars.
- Ensure all visual aspects of the golf operation, including bag racks, benches, and trash cans, are properly maintained through sanding and oiling.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Golf or Head Golf Professional.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and evenings.
