We are seeking a skilled PowerPlatform (PowerBI) Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining advanced data visualization solutions using Microsoft Power BI and other PowerPlatform tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Salary Range: $120,000 to $155,000

You Will:

• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insightful data visualizations.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop custom applications using Power Apps to streamline business processes.
• Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Create canvas and model-driven apps that meet the organization's needs.
• Design and implement data models to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using Power Automate (Flow).
• Optimize data models and DAX queries to ensure high performance and efficient data retrieval.
• Integrate Power BI solutions with various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, and other cloud services.
• Ensure seamless integration between Power BI, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
• Maintain and update existing Power BI reports and dashboards to adapt to changing business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users to enhance their ability to utilize Power BI tools effectively.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the Power BI environment.
• Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Power BI and PowerPlatform technologies.

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of Power BI projects.
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M language.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and practices.
• Proven experience in Power BI report development and administration.
• Hands-on experience in Power Apps development, including canvas and model-driven apps.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with other PowerPlatform tools (PowerApps, Power Automate) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 platform and integration capabilities.
• Microsoft Power BI certification is preferred but not required Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We'd Be Impressed If You Had:

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps).
• Experience with SQL Server or other database systems.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with Azure services related to Power BI and Power Apps.
