Job Description: As an Event Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our event management team in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, vendors, and internal team members to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of each event. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the logistical planning and coordination of events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and décor.
- Support the event management team in creating and maintaining event timelines, budgets, and checklists.
- Assist with on-site event setup, including arranging seating, signage, and audio-visual equipment, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Provide on-site support during events, including guest registration, managing event flow, and addressing attendee inquiries or concerns.
- Assist with post-event activities, such as gathering feedback from clients and attendees, evaluating event success, and compiling event reports.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
