Specializing in carrot production, the company caters to both retail and food service operations and is renowned for its Bolthouse Farms brand, widely distributed in major retailers across the United States and Canada.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

The BPA operator is responsible for the set up and operation of high-tech robotic equipment.

  • Verify set-up with the scheduled production run, set machine controls accordingly, to meet pack plan demands
  • Ensure that proper packaging supplies (Box type/Box count) are positioned to assigned workstation, for proper setup use
  • Monitor the bagging process which feeds BPA robotic machine, for packing
  • Conduct routine checks for bag quality, includes that of code dates and proper bag seals
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to identify unsafe conditions, defects or needed machine repairs
  • Check and monitor all safety controls and robotic area stops, to maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and replenish supplies as needed
  • Performed other duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven, reliable work history
  • Communicate effectively in English both written and verbal

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
  • Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions
  • Able to use the equipment and tools used to perform the job
  • Complete Lock-out/Tag out Awareness Training

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months to one-year experience in a food production or manufacturing facility
  • Prior working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA and EPA regulations
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Prior experience with Triangle ® bagging machines

Physical Demands:

  • Environmental exposure- cold/wet conditions (40 &degree; or below)
  • Material exposure-moving mechanical parts
  • Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles and vibrations
  • Able to lift, slide, and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to stand for an extended period of time
  • During the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognize that certain “non-essential worker” personnel may at times store consumer-facing materials (including, but not limited to, EADs, coupons, promotional materials, etc.) offsite from Company locations, such as at associates’ homes or in vehicles. All such consumer-facing materials must be maintained in a smoke-free and secure workplace environment.
