We’re looking for a Fire Sprinkler Deficiency Estimator to join our team

The Deficiency Estimator is responsible for estimating sprinkler system repairs. The need for these repairs may be identified by field inspectors or by inbound request for service. You will be responsible for timely and accurate estimates to correct and/or repair customers life safety systems, follow up on the estimate, and provide an excellent customer experience. You will be accountable for achieving sales and profitability targets in your area of service.

In this role you will:

  • Propose repair estimates for the customers in our system within 7 days of the inspection upload date.
  • Prioritize estimates appropriately.
  • Review 100% of Incoming deficiencies daily
  • Develop product knowledge concerning all of Performance Systems products and services.
  • Support customer questions with expertise or by gathering information to address customer questions and concerns.
  • Multitask and prioritize incoming deficiency requests.
  • Perform site walks as necessary.

  • Must have the ability to persuade and close sales.
  • Must have the ability to handle a variety of situations encountered during sales process.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and sales.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with limited supervision.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years’ sales experience in a related business with a proven successful record of accomplishment; knowledge in Fire Alarm Panels, Fire Sprinkler Systems, and Fire Suppression Systems highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
