Key Responsibilities:

  1. Navigation and Seamanship:

    • Command the vessel with precision and ensure the safety of passengers and crew during the entire voyage.

  2. Leadership:

    • Lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse crew, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

  3. Entertainment and Engagement:

    • Embrace the pirate theme and actively engage with passengers, participating in themed events and activities.

  4. Customer Service:

    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for all passengers.

  5. Safety and Emergency Preparedness:

    • Implement and oversee safety protocols, conduct regular drills, and be prepared to handle emergency situations.

  6. Navigation Planning:

    • Plan and execute optimal cruise routes, considering weather conditions, port schedules, and passenger comfort.

  7. Communication:

    • Maintain clear and effective communication with the ship's crew, shore staff, and other relevant parties.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Captain on cruise ships or similar vessels.
  • Master Mariner's License (Unlimited) and other relevant certifications.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures.
  • Excellent navigational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to embrace and embody the pirate theme for an immersive passenger experience.
