We are Hiring HVAC Installation Technicians

In this position you will be part of our retrofit installation team, installing both residential and light commercial equipment.

Position: HVAC Installation Technician

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 HR/Depending on Experience + Spiffs/bonuses. Potential annual earning $100K +

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

What you will be doing:

  • Installing primarily residential and some light commercial heating and air conditioning systems ducted and ductless systems
  • Sizing, fabricating, installing ductwork
  • Low voltage control wiring of thermostats and accessories
  • Refrigerant application with line sets brazing and implementation of AC and Heat Pump Systems
  • Installing and testing gas pipe
  • Train helpers and support installation teammates
  • Educating customers on their equipment so they have the very best experience after installation
  • Solving in-field installation challenges and working through options with sales team and customer
  • Offering customers additional options that will improve their in-home comfort

Qualifications / Skill:

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • 3 + years' HVAC Installation experience
  • Residential Retrofit experience required
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • NATE Certification or willingness to acquire once employed
  • Proficient at residential and light commercial functional design and installations
  • Understanding equipment start up and troubleshooting techniques
  • Good understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, and wiring diagrams
  • Correctly size, install, insulate, and seal ductwork
  • Experience running and testing gas piping
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Basic sheet metal practices
  • Air balancing principles and techniques
  • Knowledge and ability to follow city and county installation codes
  • Excellent customer relation skills and open mind to think outside the box
  • Pass background check & drug screen
  • Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School desired
