HVAC Apprentice

Carter Services in Torrance, CA is looking to hire a full-time entry-level HVAC Apprentice to go out on location with our experienced HVAC Technicians and assist them while learning how to service, diagnose issues with, and repair heating and cooling systems. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC APPRENTICE

As an HVAC Apprentice, you are eager to learn You work as part of a dynamic and passionate team under the direction of an experienced HVAC Technician. You receive hands-on training as you assist with maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our customers' heating and cooling systems. As you assist our HVAC Technicians, they mentor and train you on everything from how to talk with clients to how to properly service systems and equipment.

You love that you aren't stuck in an office and enjoy a change of scenery every day. You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you're being taught. In addition to on-the-job training, you spend some of your time participating in classroom instruction. You are excited to be part of our apprenticeship program and can't wait to advance in this practical, high-paying career

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights or small crawl spaces

HVAC experience is a plus, but not required. Are you motivated to learn a real trade? Do you like the idea of doing hands-on work in a variety of locations? Are you detail-oriented?
