Job DescriptionJob Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for engaging appraisers to complete appraisals that have been requested by loan personnel.


Responsible for maintaining the bank’s approved appraiser list.


Responsible for maintaining appraiser’s current credentials.


Assist in maintaining the bank’s sales comparable database.


Assist in contacting appraisers to get appraisal errors corrected.


Perform other duties related to the appraisal review department as assigned.


Qualifications:

Prior banking experience with an understanding of real estate lending is preferred.


Be able to prioritize work and complete task in a timely manner.


Good communication skills.


Ability to multi-task.


Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.


Ability to work with others, including but not limited to, Appraisal Review Department staff, Loan Personnel, and Appraisers.


Be willing to take beginner appraiser classes as time permits.
