Applewood Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing mental health services, social services and education to children, adolescents and families living in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. Program Summary: The Mobile Response Stabilization Services Program is a short-term, intensive community-based support program that can include safety assessments, de-escalation, skill building and referrals to ongoing support. The program’s goal is to keep kids in their homes and with their families throughout the treatment process, ensuring that the families are connected to appropriate and adequate resources.
Position Summary: The Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS) Independently Licensed Program Manager will provide mobile response and stabilization services to youth and families who have called the crisis hotline with a family identified crisis. The Program Manager will provide oversight of the daily operations of the program, including review and approval of crisis assessments and safety plans.
Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitating the implementation of clinical planning for clients, including assessment and disposition
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision to both the program and the staff including, but not limited to, hiring, supervision and continuous training.
- Planning coverage to ensure all roles of the program can continuously operate during times of staffing shortages or holidays
- Ensuring all documents are up to date, including but not limited to: Crisis Assessment, CANS assessment, Safety Plans, intake and discharge forms
- Other duties as needed or assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
- A valid Ohio LISW, IMFT or LPCC is required. LISW-S, IMFT-S or LPPC-S is preferred
- Minimum two years of experience working with youth and families in a mental health setting
- Experience with family systems and crisis intervention preferred
- Ability to perform the job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative, creativity and independent judgment
