Sheeter - 7pm shift

Job Purpose: To produce sheets of paper that meet company quality standards while maximizing production and minimizing downtime

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Check work of previous shift for quality & correctness and notify supervisor of any issues
2. Check and maintain the quality and correct size of paper sheets throughout each job by following company quality control procedures
3. Change/setup sheeter paper sizes and paper types between each job with minimal downtime
4. Keep sheeter cutting at optimum speed to meet or exceed production targets while maintaining quality standards
5. Identify machine malfunctions, troubleshoot, and correct in a timely manner
6. Notify a supervisor promptly when machine needs maintenance/repairs above what can be completed by the sheeter operator
7. Keep sheeter and area around machine neat & clean
8. Fill out production paperwork as required
9. Communicate with outgoing shift and incoming shift regarding equipment status, job status, and any other relevant information
10. Perform routine maintenance on sheeter as directed by supervisor
11. Duties include standing for most of the shift, pushing and pulling loaded pallet jacks, operating a forklift, moving large rolls of paper, and possibly working overtime
