We are seeking an experienced Custom Commercial Cabinetry Project Manager to oversee the design, production, and installation of custom cabinetry projects. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in project management within the woodworking or cabinetry industry, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, and also hold prior knowledge in Autocad as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of custom cabinetry projects from initial client consultation to final installation.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to develop project specifications, timelines, and budgets
  • Use Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD software to create detailed drawings, cut lists, and material requirements for custom cabinet projects
  • Collaborate with designers, clients, and the production team to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to measure spaces and monitor the progress of installations.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to the highest standards and safety regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available when needed
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure that all installations are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
  • Provide regular updates to clients and project stakeholders regarding project progress and any potential issues
  • Manage project budgets and ensure that all costs are tracked and managed effectively
  • Continuously monitor and improve project management processes and procedures
 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with an emphasis on custom cabinet projects
  • Proficiency in Autocad
  • Strong knowledge of cabinet manufacturing and installation processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in computer software programs, including Excel and project management software
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of AWI & WI standards
