Job DescriptionJob Description

Position Summary: Joined Alloys is seeking experienced CNC Machinists. Responsibilities will be reading MOT, blueprints, and set up sheets and following instructions to set machining operations on complex aerospace hardware. Knowledge and experience with high-temperature alloy experience on larger parts is required. Knowledge and experience with machining complex castings will be a plus.

Schedule: Monday thru Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM (4/10s)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must have close tolerance for aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Read and understand CNC programming to verify parts are machined to meet requirements.
  • Use measuring devices such as micrometers, dial bore gauges, calipers, etc.
  • Be familiar with aerospace materials such as aluminum, Inconel, stainless, titanium, and castings.
  • Read MOT, and blueprints, set up instructions, and cut dimensions as required.
  • Submit correct first articles to QA, monitor dimensions, and make adjustments as required to maintain tolerances.
  • Monitor parts and make corrections as needed.
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity, and quality of products to increase efficiency.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and do so with minimal supervision
