The Inventory Control Specialist primary functions are to act as a liaison between the warehouse and customer service department. They must assess and monitor warehouse transactions and track inventory maintenance and control equipment flow.

Job Duties:

  1. Perform cycle counts as designated by relevant management.
  2. Investigate stock level discrepancies and advise where issue was initiated and devise a corrective action for said discrepancies.
  3. Work directly with management to advise on stock level discrepancies.
  4. Supervise and oversee activities that relate to inventory control in the organization or warehouse environment.
  5. Administer and enforce policy changes regarding inventory within the Company.
  6. Advise management to any issues within the inventory control modules of the company’s ERP system.
  7. Ensure items in the warehouse are labeled properly and advise of any label issues.
  8. During year-end inventory, help train employees on year-end inventory processes and assist during counting and auditing processes.
  9. Undertake main duties to a high level with minimal supervision.
  10. Responsible for inventory maintenance across (3) sites.
  11. Aid with special projects as needed.
  12. Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements – Essential

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, twist, and turn for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
  • Strength, dexterity, coordination, and vision to use keyboard and computer monitor for prolonged periods of time.
