BRAND NEW CENTER

 

Kid's Culture Child Care in Dover, NH is currently accepting applications for early childhood teachers to join our team. Experience working with children, especially in a licensed child care program, is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to work independently and be comfortable with exercising good judgement and decision making skills as well as maintaining a safe environment at all times.


Requirements


Candidate must be CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) and successfully complete pre-employment requirements of the daycare and the organization.


At least one of the following qualifications are preferred, but not required:

  • A minimum of 9 credits in related coursework, at least 3 of which are in child growth and development
  • A current para II educator certification
  • A minimum of 1000 hours of experience in a licensed child care facility, in addition to: 1) completion of a 2 year vocational course in teacher education; 2) a 3 credit course in child or human growth and development; OR 3) 30 hours of training in child growth and development obtained from a university or experience


This position involves:

  • Supervision of children ages 2.5 to 4 years,
  • Addressing problems and answering questions,
  • Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities,
  • Being able to be flexible and adapt to multiple age groups,
  • Being able to collaboratively with others,
  • Following all health and safety rules, both state and center regulated,
  • A willingness to maintain education and training.\
