Bay State Physical Therapy is seeking a self motivated, ambitious full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in ourWest Roxbury, MA clinic.As a member of our team, you will provide one-on-one individualized, high quality care that is offered in a comfortable learning environment with a focus on educating our patients about their health and wellness.


Hours:Monday-Friday; 40 hours/week


Experience in out-patient center preferred

  • We are a therapist owned practice that emphasizes a collaborative and team oriented work environment.
  • Our clinics are located within medical facilities, free standing out-patient clinics and within local fitness centers and YMCAs.
  • We offer exclusive continuing education for our Physical Therapists. Course offerings have included Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars, Management of the Upper Extremity Pathology in the Overhead Athlete, Comprehensive Management of the Foot & Ankle Complex, and Aquatic AquaStretch ATRI Basic Skills Specialty

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care in all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques as allowed by state PT Practice Act, under the supervision of a licensed PT including:


  • Perform and document treatments, and record patient tolerance and responses to treatments
  • Assist with collecting patient information related to progress notes and other patient outcome measure forms as requested.
  • Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment and treatment modalities.
