Position: Youth Center Staff

Position Type: Part-Time

Pay: $10.10 per hour

Under the guidance of the Youth Center Supervisor the Youth Center Staff will have the lead responsibility for providing supervision of the activities in the Youth Center during their assigned work time. This individual will serve as a mentor and role model to youth between the ages of 12-18, while implementing the YMCA Character Development Values into all programs.

Qualifications

Demonstrated success working with youth/teens in a diverse setting is preferred. Good driving record, CPR and First Aid are required. Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Be present, engaged and lead activities for Youth Center programs and events.
  2. Recruit program participants.
  3. Understand and demonstrate the YMCA Mission.
  4. Implementation of character development in all aspects of teen programs.
  5. Continually relate to YMCA members and the community in which the YMCA serves, and help maintain a positive image.
  6. Assist in matters as directed by the supervisor.
