We are recruiting candidates for our company’s IT Support Specialist and IT Generalist roles. This is a full-time, year-round position, with a typical Monday through Friday on-site schedule based on a 40-hour work week. There is a possibility of projects occurring on weekends, though weekend work is generally project-based, and scheduling is known in advance. Some On-Call duties are required.

**Job Description:**


• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Work in collaboration with IT and High-Level offsite consultants to maintain company servers, domains, controllers, and networking hardware.

• Work with IT and company executives to define standards for internal IT support response and organize efforts to continually improve the standards of response.

• Learn, configure, use, and streamline new systems for the company.

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, servers, and network equipment.

• Administer the support ticketing system.

• Configure new user accounts on various systems, manage system security, and remove user accounts upon an employee's departure from the organization.

• Maintain the upkeep of currently used software systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT problems in a timely manner, escalating complex issues to senior team members when necessary.

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, and routers.

• Support the deployment and management of software applications and updates.

• Participate in the setup and maintenance of cloud-based services and platforms.

• Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps accurately.

• Inform managers of changes to company systems.

• Act as a support and onsite point of contact for all software systems.

• Work with department contacts and management to resolve IT-related issues.

• Help procure, configure, track, and maintain hardware devices (PC, Tablets, Phone) for staff members.

• Be one of the primary contacts for coordinating outside resources for technical projects and installations.

• Be the primary contact in efforts to improve configurations and the integration of existing systems.

• Coordinate requests for improvement and configuration from department managers and executives.

• Assist in the coordination of requests for bids and contracting on major IT systems.

• Responsible for participating in the technical budgeting process by working with accounting contacts.

• Support cost tracking and purchase order issuance for the IT dept. in conjunction with the payables clerk.

• Participate in shared on-call schedule off-hours and weekends to provide support for the operations staff.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, best practices, and share knowledge with the team.

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive user experience for all IT-related interactions. • Primary responsibility for organization the maintaining the storage of physical hardware in reserve

• Perform other IT-related tasks and projects as assigned.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent certification.

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.

• Ability to learn new systems and skills quickly.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues.

• Familiarity with Windows OS.

• Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the IT industry.

• Self-starter motivated to take control of their workflow and effect continual improvement.

• Proficiency in using productivity tools like Microsoft Office.

• Any additional certifications or relevant work experience would be a plus.
