Title Clerk

Responsibilities:

Title Clerk

Title all resale and purchase units.
Process licensing and lease deal license plates.
Breakdown car deal documentation.
Write payoff checks timely.
Filing deal jackets and related paperwork.
Remit sales tax to clerk of courts.
Maintain Notary License.
Process all wholesale deals and monitor wholesale receivable.
Maintain file of title and registration paperwork for all vehicles in inventory, including MSO for new vehicles.
Post journal entries.
Communicate with lien holders to verify liens.
Handle all inquiries regarding tag and title from customers and sales.
Maintain title schedules.
Adherence to all local, state, federal and banking regulations affecting dealership operations.
Other processes related to month-end closing.
Additional duties as assigned.
