Must-Haves:
Certifications:

Must possess one of the following:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Basic Life Support (BLS): Current certification required.

Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures within a cardiac and/or general catheterization laboratory.
At least one year of experience in digital and cine imaging and archiving.

Skills:
Proficient in operating X-ray equipment.
Competent in patient monitoring.
Skilled in scrubbing during procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
The Cath Lab Technologist works in the cardiovascular catheterization laboratory performing a variety of specialized duties, including but not limited to:

Operating radiographic fluoroscopic equipment for general diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Assisting physicians, technologists, and nurses to maintain a customer-friendly environment in the laboratory.
Participating in and sharing on-call rotation, adhering to variable shift scheduling.
Ensuring compliance with all hospital and applicable regulatory standards of licenses/certificates.

Minimum Requirements:

One of the following certifications:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
