POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for efficient management of inventory through accurate receiving and picking of products as well as proper execution of general warehouse tasks. Ensure smooth operation of warehouse functions and maintain high standards of inventory accuracy. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PICKING

  • Accurately pick items from inventory based on pick lists and orders
  • Ensure items are correctly labeled and prepared for shipping
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks

RECEIVING

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of delivery documents
  • Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies to Warehouse Lead
  • Properly store received items in designated locations

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement
  • Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory items

GENERAL WAREHOUSE TASKS

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other warehouse team members to achieve operational goals
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Lead


MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and warehouse systems


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communication
  • Able to read and write at a high school graduate level
  • Able to lift and move heavy items up to 50pounds
  • Able to sit, stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Able to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.)
  • Able to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlines
  • Able to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal development
