Job DescriptionJob DescriptionReady to take charge of payroll operations with precision and dedication? We're looking for a detail-oriented team player to join us a well-established company as a Payroll Coordinator in Northern New Jersey.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, import, process, and meticulously review payroll data
  • Create direct deposit files and ensure timely distribution of paychecks
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and reports with high attention to accuracy
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to effectively support daily operations
  • Collaborate closely with the Payroll team and other departments to achieve seamless coordination
  • We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to uphold the highest standards of payroll management

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in payroll software and related computer applications
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) – Strong Excel skills are highly desirable
  • Advanced math skills and solid analytical abilities for precise financial calculations
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all disciplines and levels
  • Effective people management abilities
  • Experience with high volume, multi-state payroll processing is preferred
  • Knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements is advantageous
  • Proven initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Reliability and dedication to see payrolls through to completion
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing demands
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, organization, and time management skills
  • Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus
  • Bilingual proficiency is an additional asset
