Join Our Team as a Facilities and Equipment Technician

Are you a hands-on problem solver? At Helget Gas Products, we're seeking a talented Facilities and Equipment Technician to ensure our buildings and equipment are in top-notch condition. With us, you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills while contributing to a dynamic team environment

In this role, you will monitor and maintain building facilities and equipment, including HVAC systems and water pumps, to ensure smooth operations. You will develop and implement maintenance schedules and policies, covering routine maintenance needs. Your technical problem solving will be crucial in maintaining facilities and equipment, handling tasks such as basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.

Tools for Success:

To succeed in this role, you should have basic knowledge in construction, and carpentry, including methods of construction, appropriate materials, finishes, products, and application procedures. You should also be familiar with applicable state and federal building, fire, and electrical codes, as well as the care, maintenance, and safe operation of assigned equipment. A solid understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions in maintenance work, practices, methods, and materials used in construction, plumbing, and electrical work is essential. Experience with electricity and electrical systems, both AC and DC voltages up to and including 460-volt 3-phase power, is also required.
