Occupational Therapist

SETTING:
Outpatient and Inpatient in a hospital setting
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and tests to determine physical therapy treatment plan.
- Determines appropriate discharge management and follow-up.
- Participates in supervisory relationships; maintains a high standard of professional accountability with respect to safety, efficiency, effectiveness, ethics and legal issues.
- Daily paperwork
- Demonstrates appropriate and effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication with patients and their families, medical staff, colleagues and the public; participates effectively as a team member in discharge planning and patient care conferences.
Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with an OT license in Iowa (new grads are welcome to apply)
- Lymphedema certified or willing to get certified
- Valid driver's license
