Job DescriptionJob Description

Role: Azure/SQL DBA

Location- Remote

Duration: Full time

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8+ years hands-on experience in database administration and management, with a focus on Azure SQL Database and on-premises databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining complex stored procedures, functions, and views.
  • Must have strong database performance tuning skills.
  • Strong hands-on with Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and related Azure data services.
  • Strong experience with on-premises database systems, including SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
  • Migration experience from Oracle to SQL Server
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.

Certifications:

  • Azure certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) is preferred.
  • Certifications in relevant on-premises database technologies are a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or additional certifications are a plus.
