Job Description

§Review current HATCI patent process documentation, recommend improvements, and prepare revised documentation§Work with HATCI engineers to identify gaps in current patent documentation§Create FAQ that details HATCI engineer's progress through the patent process§Perform prior art searches and evaluate patentability for HATCI engineer's inventions.§Prepare patent proposals for submission to Hyundai's headquarters IP team for consideration of patent filings.§Work with HATCI engineers to define, conduct, and produce patent landscapes.§Participate in patent ideation and development workshops, patent training, and other activities.

§Pursuing Bachelor's degreein Engineering or related field§Student in junior/senioryear or within 6 months of graduation; a graduate student will also beconsidered§Valid Driver License andsatisfactory driving record §Candidates applying forpositions with Hyundai/Kia must be legally authorized to work in the UnitedStates. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time ofhire.
