WHAT WE NEED:

Project Controls Scheduler - P6

Sigma Engineers and Constructors is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler - P6 who is responsible for providing critical support and expertise in managing, analyzing, and reporting schedules on various projects to ensure its success. The role involves monitoring project performance and progress to ensure on time successful project execution. The Project Controls Scheduler - P6 collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, stakeholders, and other team members to maintain project efficiency, identify potential risks, and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain project schedules.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Identify schedule deviations and propose corrective actions to mitigate delays.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines.
  • Implement project progress tracking systems and tools.
  • Regularly update project status reports and performance metrics.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to project stakeholders and management.
  • Monitor project key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze trends.
  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project outcomes.
  • Conduct risk analysis and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure risk management procedures are followed.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules.
  • Ensure document version control and accessibility for all project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate document reviews and approvals as required by the project.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings and workshops related to project controls activities.
  • Provide support in resolving conflicts and ensuring a unified project approach.
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure clear project objectives and scope.
  • Conduct performance analysis on completed projects to identify areas of improvement.
  • Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future project controls.
  • Continuously improve project controls schedule processes and methodologies.

WHO WE NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, project schedules, and risk management practices.
  • Understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with project risk management and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of schedule development, schedule maintenance, and budget management.
  • 5+ years of experience in project controls, project management, or a related discipline.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Projects)
  • Knowledge in schedule development software (e.g., Netpoint)
