CONTROLLER

Clean Scapes is the largest commercial landscaping contractor based in Texas, with locations in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Forth Worth, and Houston. SUMMARY OF POSITION

As a Controller at Clean Scapes, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in financial management, analysis, and leadership. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of Clean Scapes in a dynamic and growing organization.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Oversight:
    1. Lead financial planning, analysis, and support of the CFO in strategic decision-making.
    2. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
    3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand key business drivers and provide financial guidance.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    1. Drive the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets.
    2. Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Financial Reporting:
    1. Generate timely and accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
    2. Provide insightful analysis on financial results, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Cost Analysis and Optimization:
    1. Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
    2. Collaborate with operational teams to implement and track cost improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    1. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    2. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    3. Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis.
  • Cash Flow Management:
    1. Manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
    2. Optimize working capital to enhance overall financial performance.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    1. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    2. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.

COMPENSATION
