KE Camps, the nation's largest operator of day camps at country clubs nation-wide, seeks a well-spoken, organized and fun team-player to join our full-time team We run over 200 day camps at private country clubs in 35 states. The Staffing & Recruitment Coordinator will be an integral part of our full-time team, which is based at our main office in Princeton, NJ.

You will feel deeply involved in all of the behind-the-scenes aspects of camp, however, this is an office job, and you will not be on camp with campers at any time. The ideal candidate will have experience handling high recruitment and interview volume, as KE Camps onboards and employs over 1000 seasonal team members for our camp programs.


Staffing & Recruitment Coordinator Qualities

  • Enthusiastic, Responsible, Dependable, Level-Headed, Flexible, and Calm in all situations
  • Detail-oriented, well-written and well-spoken
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A self-starter, willing to jump in to assist in any area necessary
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • High-volume recruitment experience preferred, but not required

Staffing & Recruitment Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Attract staff by coordinating ad placement
  • Lead initiatives to identify new ad placement opportunities
  • Recruit candidates from across the US using innovative strategies
  • Spearhead college and/or high school partnerships
  • Conduct phone and video interviews with potential staff members
  • Answer phone calls/emails from staff members
  • Virtually supervise on-site staff during the summer
  • Various staffing-related projects and other administrative tasks, as needed

With camp being a seasonal business, candidates should expect (and be ready to embrace) a cyclical flow to their workload throughout the year. Candidates will receive the months of September and October off. During the fall and winter months (approximately November through February), the office environment is a bit more calm and less intense, with a steady workflow. Workload increases significantly in the spring and summer months (approximately March through August), as we adequately prepare for and support our camp programs. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week job; however, frequent night and weekend hours may be required within the late spring and summer.
