Beacon Veterinary Specialists is a well-established veterinary emergency specialty practice in Fremont, CA. We are searching for additional full-time Veterinary Assistants to join our team to support our internal medicine department


We’re offering a competitive hourly rate of $25 - 35/hr based on experience, training/career growth potential, and comprehensive benefits. The schedule for this position would be a training schedule and regular schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm with training lasting for 6 - 8 weeks.


We are looking for compassionate, motivated team players who have an interest in internal medicine. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and ready to expand on their veterinary careers

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Running appointments within the Internal Medicine Department

  • Assisting with patient care for hospitalized patients

  • Performing or assisting in physical examinations

  • Client communication and education

  • Recommendation of treatment plans with estimated costs

  • Carrying out tasks as requested by the Veterinarian
