Seamstress

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE USING 1-NEEDLE AND 5-NEEDLE SEWING MACHINES.

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced seamstress to fill an opening at a foam warehouse in Waco, TX.

Schedule: Monday-Saturday 5:30am to 3:00pm. with OT as required.

Requirements for Seamstress:

• Experience with 1-needle and 5-needle sewing machines
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to perform rapid physical work
• Ability to sit for long period of time

Responsibilities of a Seamstress:

• Sew fabric panels for mattress toppers with precision.
• Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
• Operate sewing machines and other stitching equipment.
• Inspect and repair seams for quality control.
• Assemble components to create finished mattress toppers.
• Follow design patterns and guidelines for each topper.
• Manage inventory of fabrics, threads, and other supplies.
• Ensure proper alignment and padding for comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace.
