Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. The Rehabilitation Technician will assist licensed therapists in providing high-quality care to patients, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals. This position requires a dedicated individual who is eager to learn and contribute to patient recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical, occupational, and speech therapists in implementing treatment plans.
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies.
- Transport and position patients for treatment.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of rehabilitation principles and practices.
- Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
