Our Warehouse Logisitics Coordinator assists the Production/Warehouse Manager and operators in the warehouse department through the performance of administrative, logistics, customer service, cleaning, clerical, and general office duties performed mostly in the warehouse office.

This person will conduct themselves with integrity, upholding all company policies and procedures, including areas of human and food
safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. They will guide all works and actions with the principle "Do the Right Thing, Always".

Essential Job Functions

  • Interact with shipping/receiving drivers and vendors in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Take reponsiblity for helping the shipping/receiving office run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Insure accuracy with finished product inventory.
  • Logistical sourcing for shipping products.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task.
  • Monitor product and supply traceability.
  • Participate in recalls and mock recalls.
  • Coordinate and arrange shipment of product:
    • Utilizing existing freight lines.
    • Sourcing new freight lines.
    • Shipping of bagged product and samples.
    • Return of materials: customers, products, and outside materials and equipment.
  • Manage finished product inventory.
  • Complete paperwork associated with shipments including bills of lading, placards, export paperwork, and COA's.
  • Monitor scales for axel weights.
  • Facilitate getting bagged trucks loaded accurately and efficiently, withing two hours.
  • Signing document and confirming quantity/quality for packaging items delivered to Agricor.
  • In the absense of the Production/Warehouse Manager:
    • Provide direction to the Warehouse Operators pertaining to:
      • Loading assignments.
      • Tasks associated with Warehouse Operations.
  • Daily straightening up of office
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Perform inventory counts and reconcilement of computer to actual inventory.
  • Monitor additions to and subtractions from inventory.
  • Participate in finished product and packing supply traceability as required for mock and actual product recalls.
  • Help spearhead with the implementation of any new software.
  • Create a professional, yet warm and friendly atmosphere for fellow employees, vendors, and truck drivers.
  • Effectively communicate in person and on the phone with fellow employees, truck drivers, dispatchers,vendors, and other
    parties.
  • Effectively handle occasional tense situations.
  • Operate safely and promote safety efforts.
  • Assist in food safety efforts.
  • Assist in food defense efforts.
  • Adhere to Agricor's prerequisite and Food Safety Programs pertaining to the Warehouse Logistics Coordinator.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • College degree or trade school experience preferred.
  • Five years full time prior work experience or post high school full time education and work experience required.
  • Experience in warehouse and/or logistical administrative support.
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands

  • Activities include: Walking, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pulling, pushing, sitting, standing, climbing and kneeling.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Exposure to moving parts.
  • Exposure to grain dust.
  • Exposure to high noise levels (PPE provided when required).
