  • Pay: $ will discuss
  • Shift Available: Day Shift
The Package Coordinator is responsible for preparing and shipping samples to customers. The Package Coordinator will also be responsible for transporting raw materials and finished goods between both sites by performing the following duties. Travel between Richmond sites is required.Tasks & Responsibilities include:
  • Packaging – Down pack and pull sample requests. Package and ship samples
  • Communication – Consistent communications with the Sample Coordinator. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status and any special requirements.
  • Transportation – Transport raw material and finished goods between both sites utilizing the company box truck. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely transportation of shipments. Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any issues or delays that may arise. Load and unload trucks
  • Paperwork – Process paperwork for shipments. Prepare shipping labels, documentation and other necessary paperwork accurately. Send appropriate paperwork to customer service as required
  • Inventory – Put transferred inventory in appropriate locations using SAP inventory management tools. Maintain sufficient stock and accurate inventory of sample stock
  • Shipping Regulations – Obtain and maintain DOT and RCRA Hazardous shipment and waste training. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and requirements, including hazardous materials handling if applicable
  • Cleanliness & Organization – Maintain cleanliness and organization of shipping area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Consolidate pallets for organization. Move waste from warehouse to dumpsters
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks and projects as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
Package Coordinator Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Forklift Experience
  • 2 years of similar shipping related experience (Preferred)
  • ERP experience (Preferred)
  • Box Truck experience (Preferred)
  • Capable of working independently to manage day to day tasks
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Suites, Excell, Word, Powerpoint
  • Familiarity with an ERP solution
  • Able to Stand, Walk, lift, push, pull and carry
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screen
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Good attitude
