Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing barista/cafe employee to join our team In this role, you will welcome customers into the cafe and prepare their orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their food, drinks, time at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome customers i
  • Take food and beverage orders
  • Explain the menu items to customers
  • Create a variety of smoothies, acai bowls, wraps and coffee, from basic to more complex
  • Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
  • Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines
  • ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
