Job Description:

The Housekeeping Worker ensures a clean environment is maintained throughout the hospital. This includes all patient and non-patient rooms, exam rooms, bathrooms, nursing stations, ancillary rooms, elevators, corridors, offices, and work areas.

Responsibilities:

• Performs floor scrubbing and stripping procedures using cleaning agents and chemical
• Counts linen and transports to floors

Requirements:

• High School diploma or Equivalency required
• Minimum 1 year experience waxing and stripping
• Previous waxing/stripping hospital experience preferred
• Knowledge of safe chemical care
