Work locations are mostly commercial including schools, churches, restaurants, medical facilities, business sites, offices, and some residences.
Technician Salary:
$16-22 depending on experience
Requirements:
Valid driver license with clean driving record
EPA certification required
Be able to pass a background check
Ability to braze/solder/weld
Standard technician tools
Neat, clean, professional appearance
Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
Two or more years of experience as an HVACR service technician
Ability to troubleshoot and provide repairs of HVAC, refrigeration, and hot side equipment
Ability to understand controls/wiring schematics
Clean equipment/work area
Complete all paperwork
Help with or perform equipment installations if needed
Perform maintenance work if needed
Rotating on call schedule as required
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to carry and maneuver heavier items, either with help or appropriate devices.
