Database Administrator 2

Annapolis Junction, MD

OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Database Administrator 2 to work in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Required Experience:

  • Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of multiple databases to include: disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
  • Administer, maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend available database management system (DBMS) products.
  • Perform database and software life- cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance with compliance of business requirements.
  • Perform Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase Batabase and Application server administration.
  • Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of experience as a DBA.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.


Security Clearance:

  • A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
