Description:
Hybrid role (2 days onsite required). Candidates must be local to a Blue office.
Bill Rates:
  • Florida/Arizona: $37.33/HR on W2
  • Alabama/Colorado/Texas: $40.00/HR on W2
  • Washington/California/Virginia: $44.80/Hr on W2
Qualification Questions:
  1. Does the candidate have aerospace procurement experience?
  2. Does the candidate have US government contracting experience?
  3. Does the candidate have experience buying avionics, fluids, and/or machined part components?
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or similar with a minimum 2-5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Must have knowledge and experience in procurement and supplier management
  • Must have understanding and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Experience with negotiating and managing multiple contract types, including but not limited to Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and cost type (CPFF, CPIF)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload
  • Track record of working in an ambiguous environment and successfully balancing priorities
  • Interprets and applies company, policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, SOX Compliance.
  • Maintain compliant and accurate files and data records.
  • Strong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics
  • Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations.
  • Must have top notch people and communication skills.
  • Working understanding of AS9100 standards.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Data such as specifications & source control drawings.
  • An eagerness to identify opportunities, find solutions, execute plans, and evaluate results critically and expediently
  • Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department.
  • Highly analytical and critical thinker
  • Maintains passion for solving problems from end-to-end
  • Adept at working with different systems and making recommendations on improvements for both systems and processes
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Desired:
  • Prior experience in the Space or Aerospace industry
  • Experience with Avionics or Fluids components
  • Experience with import/export (ITAR/EAR) regulations
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Jira, SharePoint
