Job Brief:
As a Lewis Automotive Group Lube Technician, you'll find the opportunities, resources, and support you need to grow and develop professionally. Our dealership is concerned with more than moving inventory; we are committed to your success and invested in your future.
Responsibilities:
- Injects grease into units such as springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles using hand or compressed air powered grease gun
- Inspects fluid level of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housing, and shackles
- Checks air pressure of tires and rotates tires
- Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants. Sprays leaf spring with lubricant using spray gun
- Drains oil from crankcase and refills crankcase with required amount of oil
- Replaces oil and air filters
- Packs wheel bearings
- Works in a cooperative and professional manner with all personnel
- Maintains a professional demeanor while on the job and treats customers in a courteous manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Demonstrating behaviors consistent with Employers' values in all interactions.
Specific Requirements:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
