Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Operations Quality Control Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards of data integrity and accuracy within an organization. Their primary focus is on ensuring that data is reliable, complete, consistent, and aligned with the organization's data governance policies. The associate will ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive data, collaborate with colleagues and quality control teams, and comply with all data integrity and security policies.

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring accuracy: Working with departments to ensure that data is consistently accurate and meets regulatory requirements.
  • Is responsible for reviewing data for errors or inconsistencies, verifying the output, correcting any discrepancies, reporting errors , and establishing controls to minimize future errors.
  • Is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the data before submission from Operations to Accounting/Billing and/or Client Services.
  • Maintaining consistency: Supervising and implementing processes to guarantee the consistency of the data used by the company. 
  • Maintaining reliability: Ensuring the reliability of the data used by the company 
  • Maintaining security: Maintaining security of the data.
  • Is responsible for adhering to data integrity and security policies. Comply with data privacy standards to ensure quality control processes and procedures.
  • Managing initiatives: Managing and enforcing data quality initiatives, like data acquisition, expansion, cleaning, and updating. 
  • Providing advice: Giving advice on how quality systems are managed.
  • Is responsible for working closely with members of operations, Client Services, Information Technology, Accounting, and Data Managers to streamline data entry processes and improve quality control procedures.  
  • Measuring performance: Measuring and reporting performance against approved standards
  • Setting policy standards: Often setting policy standards, operating procedures, and processes. 
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Competencies:  
  • Must have a high level of confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Must be able to work and collaborate in a team environment for data collection.
  • Familiarity with the tools, concepts and methodologies of quality management.
  • Advanced experience in Excel (working and analyzing multiple workbooks, formulas, and data collection.)
  • Ability to problem-solving, analytical, root cause analysis, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to generate and interpret detailed reports.  

Education and Experience  
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent; additional qualifications in data management or related fields are a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years in Operations Quality Control is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in excel is highly preferred
  • Proven experience in fast-paced, multi-facility, or tiered-level data quality control and database management.
This position is fully on site in Weston, FL
