Job Overview: The Program Manager, Data Impact and Governance, plays a crucial role in developing and enhancing approved frameworks for data assessments within our organization. This position is responsible for conducting both quantitative and qualitative assessments of data assets, maturity, quality, and security. The Program Manager will measure progress towards success using key performance metrics (KPIs) and regularly report status updates to leadership. Collaboration with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and senior executives is essential to ensure alignment and successful implementation of data governance initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance approved frameworks for data assessments.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative data assessments including data assets, maturity, quality, and security.
  • Measure and report progress towards success via key performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and senior executives across the organization.
  • Long-term program development, planning, assessments, tracking, and reporting of milestones and outcomes.
  • Engage with business leaders to understand clinician and business needs and articulate the link between Data Governance and respective business and clinical domains.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships to ensure effective bi-directional communications.
  • Inform, negotiate, and persuade leaders regarding required data assessments.
  • Plan, manage, execute, and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Provide status reports to stakeholders regarding assessments, gaps, and risks.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage resources, analyze problems, report progress, and analyze project performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in project/program management, data assessments, and/or data audits. Equivalent experience may substitute the required education degree on a one-to-one basis.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with risk, quality, or high-value assessments.
  • Experience developing process flows.

Certifications:

  • Required: None.
  • Preferred: Project Management certification (e.g., PMP), Lean Sigma.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
