Job Title: Legal Receptionist
FLSA: Hourly
Job Type: Full-Time
A mid-sized law firm located in Atlanta is seeking a motivated Legal Receptionist. You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the front desk and providing limited administrative support to the managing partner. The ideal candidate for this position exemplifies and high degree of professionalism, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, and dynamic workplace. Law firm experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages, and screens and directs telephone calls for management and staff in a timely manner.
- Promote and exemplify a professional and positive image for the law firm.
- Greet and screen incoming visitors in a professional manner and promptly notify appropriate staff of their arrival.
- Prepare, and send routine letters and correspondence as directed by attorney and support team.
- Request and process client documents and other case related information.
- Process incoming/outgoing mail and facsimiles.
- Responsible for scheduling and calendaring activities for managing partner.
- Coordinate office supply list.
- Responsible for maintaining an orderly and tidy office space.
- Pick up, scan, and upload mail.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (associate degree preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in an office environment
- Ability to operate standard office equipment efficiently
- Must exemplify professionalism
- Must have excellent time management and organization skills
- Must have the ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience with document management system
- Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced evolving and changing environment
