Location: Jackson, MI 49201

Duration: 13 weeks contract.

Shift Information: 7P-7A With every other weekend.

** AUTO OFFER REQUEST ** ** OT BILLED AFTER 48 HOURS ** ** RTO: NO RTO SURROUNDING THE WEEK OF THE JULY INDEPENDENCE DAY HOLIDAY CAN BE APPROVED ** ** REQUIRED: 2+ YEARS OF GENERAL MEDSURG UNIT EXPERIENCE, BLS CERTIFICATION FROM AHA ** ** HIGHLY PREFERRED: AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE WORKING ON A SURGICAL FLOOR. ** ** FLOATING: CANDIDATES MAY BE ASKED TO FLOAT;
LOCATION IS ACUITY ADAPTABLE. MAY BE ASKED TO FLOAT TO LOCKDOWN UNIT **

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
BSN preferred. 2. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. 3. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. 4. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. 5. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
