Job Summary: 

Summer Patrol is responsible for performing guest service functions such as accident handling, administering first aid, promoting and creating a safe environment for guests and employees, and participating in summer project work.

Job Specifications: 

• Expected Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.50 / hour

• Shift & Schedule Availability  - ​Part Time
• Skill Level: Entry

Job Responsibilities: 

• Assisting injured guests on the mountain and administering first aid
• Transporting injured guests off the mountain using a truck, UTV, Gondola, or other support vehicles Participating in accident investigations as needed
• Maintaining emergency supplies
• Providing assistance at lift stations
• Educating guests about summer operations and terrain
• Participating in summer projects, such as toboggan repair, gear checks, terrain maintenance, etc.

Job Requirements: 

• High School or Equivalent
• Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language (spoken and written)
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have excellent guest service skills
• Must work well in a team
• Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment
• Must have sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills, follow and provide directions Must be available to work holidays and weekends
• Previous patrol or experience at a Vail Resorts® mountain resort preferred
• Must have valid drivers’ license
• Must have EMT Certification

The expected pay range is $21.00 - $23.50. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
