About the Role

As Billing Specialist your primary responsibility is the invoicing of agronomy products and services as well as assisting in agronomy accounting functions within the designated locations.


What will you do?

· Working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies.

· Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy.

· Assist Account Leads and Account Managers:

*Updating customer records.

*Monitoring agronomy sales contracts for accuracy.

*Obtaining/documenting customer split and/or farm information.

*Agronomy work orders.

*Management of Delivered Not Billed (DNB)

· Timely invoicing of agronomy products and services for specified locations.

· Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy.

· Verification of all specified locations inventory purchase orders.

· Perform and assist others in the reconciliation of agronomy inventories on daily and monthly basis.

· Assist customers with billing/statement inquiries.

· Assist other employees with agronomy billing or inventory inquiries.

· Provide training on invoicing to other employees within the company.

· Participate in system testing, as needed, to the company’s computer system.

· Champion of safety compliance throughout the organization.

Requirements:

Candidate Requirements:

· Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Previous agricultural experience preferred.

· Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

· Able to define problems, collaborate with team members, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Computer Skills, Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Ag Vance, and databases.

· Work with an open dialogue, an exchange of ideas, and the ability to accept direction and feedback positively.

· Professional, friendly, and outgoing disposition; Ability to work respectfully with the internal team, as well as external partners is paramount to success.

· Self-motivated and organized with attention-to-detail.


Licenses, Registrations, Certificates

· Ability to attend in person meetings at the Des Moines location.

· Frequent use of hands and fingers to prod, handle, feel, or reach.
