Job DescriptionJob Description

Safety Lab Technician position for TÜV America Inc. located in Alpharetta, GA.

Occasional off-shift and/or off-site meetings as necessary. Hours beyond the normal work week are often required to satisfy client deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory tests
  • Generate computer generated test data
  • Maintain equipment calibrations 
  • Maintain proficiency with the latest lab and testing procedures
  • Keep laboratory organized 
  • Keep abreast of present and future Product Safety requirements, test procedures, instrumentation, technology and TUV Product Service capabilities by internal training sessions, external seminars and reading of technical articles
Qualification
  • Associate Degree Electronics or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years job related experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
