*Hours and Schedule:*

-3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am on multiple days a week in Ruther Glen VA

-7am-3pm,3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am on weekends ONLY in Ruther Glen VA

*If you can work a 12 hour shift instead we have some flexibility with that as well just please let us know during the interview**

 

Our Caregivers enjoy some excellent benefits:

- $18.50 per hour or $740.00 per 40 hour week

As a CNA or PCA at Interim HealthCare, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

- Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease in their homes

- Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake

- Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises

- Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes

- Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient’s care plan is followed

- Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

 

A few must-haves for CNA and PCA Caregivers:

- High school diploma (or equivalent) and active CNA / PCA Certification in Virginia

- Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation and a working cellphone with cellular data

- Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
