Job DescriptionJob Description### Job Summary for SIOP Manager Position

#### Position Responsibilities:
1. **SIOP and Operational Planning:**
- Implement and oversee the Site's SIOP and Operational Planning processes.
- Improve business and operational performance, including customer delivery, inventory optimization, productivity, and profit and revenue growth.

2. **Long-Term Planning:**
- Develop and own the Site's SIOP process with cross-functional input and accountability.
- Create feasible long-term demand and supply plans.
- Develop long-term planning scenarios for executive decision-making and operational performance improvement.

3. **Short-Term Operational Planning:**
- Execute SIOP plans into short-term operational planning.
- Manage Master Supply Plan and Production Scheduling to balance resources and meet customer requirements efficiently.

4. **Demand and Supply Planning:**
- Lead the monthly S&OP process to deliver aligned, achievable long-term demand and supply plans.
- Facilitate long-term demand planning with input from key stakeholders.
- Develop methods to model demand changes and their operational impact.

5. **Executive Support:**
- Support Divisional/Product Group executive S&OP meetings.
- Consolidate inputs and manage key risks, opportunities, and performance measures.
- Ensure quality inputs and outputs and track execution of action plans.

6. **Performance Improvement:**
- Use Root Cause Analytics and Corrective Actions to drive performance improvement.
- Handle special projects to support S&OP implementations and process changes.

7. **Process Alignment:**
- Ensure Site's planning processes align with Group procedures.
- Implement continuous improvement plans for process and system capability development.

8. **Team Development:**
- Build team capability through training, coaching, and hiring.

#### Supervisory Scope:
- **Direct Reports:**
- Hire, retain, train, coach, guide, direct, and develop direct reports.
- **Indirect Reports:**
- Delegate work and provide guidance, direction, and mentoring.
- **Financial Responsibility:**
- Target cost savings and profit growth.

#### Required Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- APICS CPIM preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning.
- CIPS or APICS Qualification.

#### Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Experience in Sales & Operations Planning and Operational Planning.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chains and business performance.
- Experience in developing and leading S&OP processes (preferably in manufacturing).
- Aerospace & Defense or related industry experience preferred.
- Ability to drive improvement in key metrics through Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
- Experience with ERP (SAP preferred) and Supply Chain Planning software.
- High-level analytical skills and strategic planning abilities.
- Capability to develop and lead high-performing teams.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
